Buyers receive bonuses
The Changan company has released an inexpensive electric car, the Changan Lumin, with a range of about 300 km, which is offered in China for $8,500.
In addition, Changan introduced a new optional package. When purchasing the Lumin fast-charging model, buyers can purchase a 3.5 kW charging unit for $250. A $70 deposit will reduce the price of the car by $270.
Changan Lumin is positioned as a pure electric mini car built on the EPA0 pure electric platform. The main update compared to its predecessor is support for DC fast charging. Fast charging from 30% to 80% battery capacity now takes only 35 minutes at room temperature. There is a scheduled charging function.

Changan Lumin received a two-door, four-seater layout. It measures 3270 mm in length, 1700 mm in width, and 1545 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 1980 mm.
The interior is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The car displays images from the rear camera on the screen, allows you to connect smartphones, and supports voice control and Bluetooth for music and phone calls.
The Lumin power plant consists of an engine with a maximum power of 48 hp. and a battery with a capacity of 27.99 kWh. The car uses MacPherson front suspension and rear coilover suspension.
