Argentina abandoned the peso
The Steam Store has stopped using the Turkish Lira and Argentine Peso, replacing them with US dollars in Turkey and Argentina.
They warned about this at the end of October . Representatives of Valve explained that the decision was due to the “volatility of currency exchange rates” in these countries, which complicated financial calculations for developers and Valve itself.
As a result, these countries, along with others, are included in the new LATAM-USD (Latin America) and MENA-USD (Middle East and North Africa) regions, where uniform dollar prices are established.
Cheap games are over. Steam has converted the Turkish store from lira to dollars
The transition to an international currency has led to a significant increase in the cost of games, for example, Elden Ring now costs 40 dollars (3,500 rubles) instead of the previous 999 liras (~3,100 rubles) in Turkey. On Russian Steam they are now asking 3999 rubles for this game.

- Baldur’s Gate 3 – 35 dollars (~3100 rubles) instead of 799 liras (~2500 rubles);
