Camaro production to end in January 2024
The Chevrolet Camaro Vivid Orange Edition is a limited edition model for the Japanese market only. A total of 20 such cars were produced.
In addition to Vivid Orange, this model has a silver stripe that runs from the hood to the trunk lid. Inside, jet black upholstery and Recaro Performance seats greet us.
The Chevrolet Camaro Vivid Orange Edition is based on the Camaro SS. Its 6.2-liter V8 develops 447 hp. and 617 Nm of torque. In Japan, the car was priced at $66,275, while the standard model costs $62,908.
Chevrolet Camaro Vivid Orange Edition introduced
Chevrolet began accepting orders for the Vivid Orange Edition on May 8, 2023. The car will be unveiled at Chevrolet Fan Day at Fuji Speedway on May 20. Deliveries of the model will begin in mid-June.
In March, Chevrolet announced that production of the Camaro would end in January 2024 . The company says it’s not the end of the model, but a direct replacement won’t appear right away.
Rumor has it that the next car to carry the Camaro name could be an electric car. It could be a Ford Mustang Mach-E competitor.
