Chuwi unveils CoreBook Xe, one of the first laptops with Intel Iris Xe Max discrete graphics
The Chinese company Chuwi is preparing to release a laptop computer CoreBook Xe – one of the world’s first laptops equipped with a discrete graphics accelerator, Intel Iris Xe Max (DG1).
Let’s briefly recall the key characteristics of the video card. The GPU has 96 Compute Units (EUs) that include 768 shader cores. The clock speed is 1.65 GHz, and the memory capacity of LPDDR4X-4266 with a 128-bit bus is 4 GB.
It is known that the laptop will receive the tenth generation Intel Core i5 processor with four processing cores (eight threads), operating at a frequency of up to 4.2 GHz. The amount of DDR4 RAM is 8 GB.
The display will be 15.6 inches diagonally. In this case, buyers will be able to choose between modifications equipped with a Full HD panel (1920 × 1080 pixels) and 2K (2560 × 1440 pixels). Finally, it is known that a solid-state module with a capacity of 256 GB to 1 TB will be used as a drive.
The Chuwi CoreBook Xe will go on sale in April at $ 599.
