Tecno, among other things, is very actively experimenting with the design of its smartphones, and with various technologies. And in its first “clamshell” with a flexible screen, Tecno also implements one very unusual feature.
The Phantom V Flip model will receive an external round display fitted inside the camera module. Something similar was once attributed to the flagship Huawei smartphones, but it was never implemented there.

The screen itself will be small, with a diameter of 1.32 inches, but in terms of design, this approach is very original.
The main screen of the smartphone will offer a diagonal of 6.9 inches. Also, the smartphone will receive SoC Dimensity 8050, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of flash memory, a 64 megapixel camera and a battery with a capacity of 3900 or 4000 mAh.
Given Tecno’s specs and business model, the Phantom V Flip is likely to be one of the cheapest foldable smartphones on the market.
