A total of 11 popular cloud services are supported
VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) announced the launch of an update for its proprietary cloud services. As the press service notes, now Mail.ru Cloud users will be able to connect third-party cloud storages and transfer files from foreign services.
At the moment, integration with 11 popular cloud services is available, including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and others. Also in the version for the computer, users got the opportunity to work without an Internet connection.
Cloud Mail.ru will help you transfer files from foreign storages
To transfer data, you need to install the Mail.ru Cloud application on your computer, log in, log in to third-party services, and follow system prompts. Connected repositories will appear as folders where you can manage files, such as create a link and share it.
During migration, file formats are automatically converted to public ones. This functionality is especially convenient when transferring files from Google Drive – documents, spreadsheets and presentations will be automatically converted from Google format to standard Microsoft Office formats. For example, a presentation is converted to .pptx and a text file to .docx.
