Coming to Switch, Apex Legends will have a solo option and the Chaos Theory event kicks off

Respawn Entertainment has announced that on the day the shooter Apex Legends launches on Nintendo Switch, the game will have the option to fight solo in a battle royale. At the same time, the launch of the “Chaos Theory” event will take place. All this will happen in one day – March 9th.

Players have been asking for the single-player mode in Apex Legends for a long time, but not exactly what they wanted. An option “without filling” will be added to the project: when you queue up for two regular modes (duets or trios), you have the opportunity to turn off the selection of comrades. This way, you will participate in a one-off match against teams of two or three shooters.

And as part of the Chaos Theory event, Caustic will transform the water treatment plant area into a festering pit with excellent loot. Players will find four gold items there, which will need to be obtained as quickly as possible because the object is filled with a cloud of gas.

Besides, a Ring of Fury mode will appear similar to a standard match, but with ring flashes that appear in the arena, causing damage when hit. A map and a mini-map will warn the impending threat to have time to hide behind a special heat shield.

Apex Legends is currently available shareware on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S for backward compatibility.
