Company of Heroes in the old school style: SEGA will temporarily release a tank action game Armor of Heroes

SEGA and The Eccentric Ape have announced the old-school tank action Armor of Heroes, featuring artwork and models from Relic Entertainment’s Company of Heroes strategy series. The release will take place as part of the 60th anniversary of SEGA. Three more games will be released along with Armor of Heroes: Golden Axed, Streets of Kamurocho, and Endless Zone.

Armor of Heroes will offer several game modes, including Deathmatch (you need to reach the point limit or get the highest number of points in the allotted time), Score Zone (you get points only when you are in the zone), and Survival (a fixed number of lives, the last remaining one wins alive). In addition, the project will have several customization options: arcade, tactical, and hardcore.

In addition to this, the developer indicated that the action contains the following modes:

  • Crazy Tanks;
  • King of the Hill;
  • Standoff;
  • Skirmish;
  • Danger Zone;
  • Last Man Standing;
  • Annihilation;
  • Carnage;
  • Extinction.

The matches will take place in four areas of different sizes with destructible environments. The opponents will be tanks controlled by artificial intelligence, but players will have the opportunity to invite a friend into battle using the Remote Play Together function.

Armor of Heroes will be available from October 15th 00:00 UTC until October 19th 20:00 UTC.  Once you pick it up, it will remain in your Steam library forever.
