Of course the first

Some time ago, AMD released the Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor. For just $230, the buyer gets the best value for money gaming processor that far outperforms much more expensive CPUs thanks to the extra cache. Ryzen 7 5800X3D is one step higher, which has been on sale for a long time and is available everywhere, while Ryzen 5 5600X3D is for some reason exclusive to the American Micro Center network. Does it make sense to pay extra for two extra cores to those who can buy a Ryzen 5 5600X3D? The latest Hardware Unboxed tests provide an answer to this question.

The authors tested two sister CPUs in a variety of games at three major resolutions using the RTX 4090.

As tests show, in most games there is not much difference between the two processors. Yes, the older model is often faster, but most often very slightly. In Full HD, the difference averages 6%, in 1440p it drops to 4%, and in 4K it is only 1%. Yes, there are quite resource-intensive games in which an eight-core CPU is 10-15% faster, but there are few such games, and in 4K the maximum difference is 7%.

Thus, the Ryzen 5 5600X3D is a better buy, although, as already mentioned, not everyone can buy it. But if suddenly it becomes available everywhere later, this is an excellent choice in its price segment.
