Due to COVID-19 pandemic

Computex exhibition in Taipei this year was supposed to be held, as usual, in early June. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved to September. The organizers expected to hold the exhibition from September 28 to 30, but at the same time, there was a high risk that the event would be completely canceled.

Computex exhibition this year will not take place

And it was canceled. Computex 2020 will not take place this year. The reason, of course, lies in the pandemic of the coronavirus. In addition, there are issues with quarantine measures, since Taiwan has closed its borders for the usual entry of foreign citizens – now we need to go through a two-week quarantine.

At the same time, Taiwan itself COVID-19 pandemic, due to the correct measures taken by the government, affected only superficially. With a small area and high population density, only 443 cases of infection and 7 deaths have been recorded there today.
