The cooling system received the designation MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero, although in fact, it does not reach negative temperatures on the Celsius scale during its operation – firstly, it prevents the formation of condensation, and secondly, layout restrictions do not allow demanding the impossible from a system of such dimensions and energy consumption level. The main unit, installed on the central processor, has an eight-pin power connector – exactly the same as used on video cards. This is natural because the thermoelectric module is characterized by increased power consumption. Cooler Master recommends using a power supply with a capacity of at least 750 W, although this value already includes a headroom for overclocking the CPU.

According to the manufacturer, MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero is able to keep the temperature of an overclocked quad-core processor below 30 degrees Celsius under load, while the two cores are active, the temperature does not exceed 20 degrees. At the same time, Intel processors of the Core i9 family of the Comet Lake-S generation, with which it provides compatibility, are overclocked by 500 MHz higher than a conventional unattended liquid cooling system.

The system is designed to work with processors with a TDP of no more than 250 W. The pump is structurally placed in a separate case, while the control board is concentrated in the main block, which allows preventing the formation of condensation, the water block itself, and the Pete module, as well as various kinds of sensors to provide temperature feedback. The dimensions of the main unit are 89 × 79 × 86.7 mm.

As you can see, the base of the water block is made of a rather thick copper plate, along the perimeter, it is covered by the main block body in order to more accurately control the temperature and prevent condensation. The presence of such a “skirt”, on the other hand, imposes restrictions on compatibility with motherboards, but the exact list of suitable models is posted on the manufacturer’s website.

The cooling system also includes a reservoir with a cooling liquid, structurally combined with a heat exchanger radiator and a block of three 120 mm fans. Different types of cases of the system unit allow you to mount such a radiator in different places, the Cooler Master website has recommendations for its placement depending on the case model. The novelty will be on sale by the end of the month at a recommended price of 349 euros, compatibility with motherboards for AMD processors is not provided, and even in the case of Intel processors, we are talking only about the LGA 1200 platform.
