Cooler Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 is equipped with two 120mm fans
Thermalright has introduced the Peerless Assassin 120 processor cooler: the novelty is made in a “double tower” format with sandwich construction. Provides compatibility with modern AMD and Intel chips.
The solution is equipped with a two-piece radiator, pierced by six heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. Their direct contact with the processor cover is not provided.
At the base is a nickel-plated copper pressure plate that acts as a small additional heatsink. The total height of the cooler is 157 mm.
Two 120mm TL-C12 fans are used: one is installed between the radiator sections, the other outside of it. The rotation speed is controlled by a pulse width modulation (PWM) method, reaching 1550 rpm. An airflow is created with a volume of up to 112 cubic meters per hour at a noise level of no more than 25.6 dBA—static pressure – up to 1.53 mm H2O.
The cooler measures 125 × 135 × 157 mm and weighs 750 g. Compatibility with AMD Socket AM4 processors and Intel LGA 115x / 2011 / -3 / 2066/1200 chips is provided. The price has not yet been announced.
