Skoda enters automaker price war
In response to the decline in prices for Tesla electric vehicles in Europe, Skoda reduced the price of its Enyaq electric crossover – and immediately by 9,000 euros.
Enyaq is not a cheap car, the price of its basic version was close to 50 thousand euros. However, the Enyaq 50 version will now be available in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands for just 39,990 euros. It is interesting that this version was presented back in 2020, but it only comes to sales (and even then limited to three countries).
Crossover Skoda Enyaq fell in price in Europe immediately by 9 thousand euros
The technique of the Enyaq 50 is the simplest: there is one electric motor with a capacity of 148 hp, which is also installed on the rear axle. The traction battery capacity is only 55 kWh, the WLTP cycle range is up to 340 km, but in reality it will be less. That is, a car for the city or a maximum of the suburbs, but not for traveling. The dynamics here are also mediocre – up to 100 km / h, the crossover accelerates in 11.4 s. For comparison, the top-end all-wheel drive 300-horsepower Enyaq vRS accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Crossover dimensions are 4648 x 1877 x 1618 mm, wheelbase – 2765 mm.
