Intel showed outstanding capabilities of the mobile flagship Tiger Lake-H – more than 200 FPS in Hitman 3

Intel showed outstanding capabilities of the mobile flagship Tiger Lake-H – more than 200 FPS in Hitman 3

Intel has once again recalled the imminent release of 11th generation Intel Core mobile processors, known under the unofficial name Tiger Lake-H45. The manufacturer posted a short video on its Twitter page showing a glimpse of the laptop’s performance level on the new chip in Hitman 3.

The video indicates that the laptop is based on an 8-core Core i9 processor. The specific model of the chip has not been specified, but thanks to previous leaks, it is known that the Tiger Lake-H45 series will feature two Core i9 models. One of them is a Core i9-11980HK with an unlocked multiplier and a frequency range from 2.6 to 5.0 GHz (per core). The second is a Core i9-11900H with frequencies from 2.5 to 4.9 GHz.

The frame rate in the video shown exceeds 200 FPS and peaks at 238 FPS. This level of performance is unlikely to be possible on the graphics core built into the processor, so it is obvious that the laptop used a discrete graphics card. Some users were skeptical about what was shown in the video, noting that the company specifically chose such a camera angle in the game, in which the frame per second rate will be higher.

Intel introduced the Tiger Lake-H35 processors earlier this year. They offer up to four physical cores and have a TDP of 35W. These chips are designed primarily for thin gaming laptops. One of the Tiger Lake series processor features is support for the PCIe 4.0 bus, allowing you to take full advantage of the latest mobile graphics cards and high-speed NVMe drives.

Intel previously confirmed that the Tiger Lake-H series of high-performance processors would launch in the second quarter of this year. The manufacturer has not yet announced the exact date of the presentation of the new chips.
