In response to fan questions on Reddit, Watch Dogs: Legion Support Producer Lathieeshe Thillainathan and Online Director Jean-Pascal Cambiotti revealed a performance mode in development that focuses on achieving stable 60 frames. C on current generation consoles.

The release date of the update will be announced at a later date. The developers did not provide any additional information. It’s also unclear if this mode will be released in Watch Dogs: Legion on Xbox Series S, which currently plays the game at 1080p at 30fps with ray tracing. The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, Watch Dogs: Legion, is played on them in dynamic 4K at 30 fps.

Interestingly, the Digital Foundry (Eurogamer section) employees, even at the launch of the project, found in the game filed a mention of the 60 frames / s mode for the current generation consoles and suggested that it might appear later.

Watch Dogs: Legion is out on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
