As the name suggests, Curse of the Dead Cells will bring content to Curse of the Dead Gods based on the hardcore action platformer Dead Cells by Motion Twin.

In particular, with the patch’s release, the Curse of the Headless will appear in Curse of the Dead Gods – the character moves faster but takes more damage and becomes similar to the protagonist of Dead Cells.

Also, Curse of the Dead Cells will add three new weapons (two-handed sword, broadsword, and crossbow) and a challenge room with a chest from Dead Cells – after passing the test; the user will earn rare items, including one cursed one.

In addition to content based on Dead Cells, the announced update includes other features. Focus Home Interactive and Passtech Games have promised to share details soon.

It won’t take long to release Curse of the Dead Cells: the patch is scheduled for release on April 14 this year. The announcement did not elaborate on this, but the free add-on is likely to target all target platforms.

The release version of Curse of the Dead Gods was released in February this year on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Earlier it became known that Passtech Games became part of the Nacon publishing house.
