Cyber city, stealth and friendly drone: the first details of Stray – adventures about a stray cat
As part of the June launch of the PlayStation 5, BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive have unveiled the adventure game Stray. The announcement was accompanied by a cinematic trailer that did not contain details about the upcoming project. We had to wait three and a half months for news – now new information has appeared on the Stray page on the PlayStation website.
As shown in the first video, the main character of the game is a stray cat. She was lost in a cybernetic city, and in order to get home, the animal must solve some “ancient mystery”. To do this, you need to explore a metropolis that is turning into ruins, where, judging by the trailer, only robots live.
Stray has a feline third-person view and stealth mechanics. The developers warn that sometimes users will have to act secretly, and at other times, on the contrary, try to infuriate the residents of the city. BlueTwelve also mentioned searching for secrets in the streets and nooks and crannies of Stray’s world and the friendly droid B12. He will help the main character find her way home.
Stray will be released in 2021 on PC and PlayStation 5, with no release date announced yet.
