Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated to version 1.05 – the patch fixes bugs and improves the game on PC and consoles

Studio CD Projekt RED on the official website of its action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 announced the release of the next patch for the game. Update 1.05 is out now on consoles and will be on PC very soon.

A fresh patch became available exactly one week after the previous one – 1.04 – and only five days after the developers promised not to delay the release of the next portion of the fixes.

Patch 1.05 is intended to eliminate a number of bugs (for example, with scripts triggered) in some quests, to prevent interface errors (like overlapping elements) and graphics.

The developers also promise that they have made several stability improvements for Cyberpunk 2077. This, in turn, should reduce the number of crashes – both on PC and consoles.

Specifically, on consoles, among other things, they increased the clarity of the image with chromatic aberration and graininess, and also corrected the appearance of some cars. In addition, settings will no longer reset after restarting the game.

As for the PC version, CD Projekt RED has optimized Cyberpunk 2077 on 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen processors: from now on, the game will take advantage of multithreading technology.

In addition, the memory_pool_budgets.csv file was removed from the folder with Cyberpunk 2077 installed. It, contrary to the instructions that appeared on the Web, does not affect the performance of the final version.

Recall that due to the abundance of technical problems, buyers of Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 and Xbox One  (this also applies to retail ) have recently been entitled to demand a full refund.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10 on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, Xbox One, as well as GeForce Now and Google Stadia. The PS4 version was taken off the market in the PS Store before the appearance of patches that should bring the game into proper form.
