Transient went on sale for Steam and GOG. In both digital stores, until November 9, a 15 percent discount applies to the game – with this discount, the project can be purchased for 369 rubles.

In addition to the temporary price cut, Iceberg Interactive and Stormling Studios have decided to mark the premiere of Transient with a release trailer. An almost two-minute video demonstrates a cut of gameplay and story scenes.

A mostly niche game, Transient failed to attract the attention of most foreign portals. In total, on Metacritic and OpenCritic, only three editions passed the verdict on the new work of Stormling Studios.

Reviewers praise Transient for its thick atmosphere, pleasant graphics, and captivating storyline, and criticize it for its short duration (about 3.5 hours) and problems with tempo.

Transient was greeted warmly by Steam users, with an average rating based on 24 reviews (current at the time of publication) of 84%. Players complain about graphical flaws and not always justified similarities with Observer.

The hallmark of Transient is a mixture of cyberpunk elements and stories in the spirit of Howard Lovecraft, visually and thematically. Players in the role of hacker Randolph Carter are faced with a “terrible truth” that threatens to shatter the hero’s mind.
