The developers from the Canadian studio Behavior Interactive have revealed the details of the asymmetric horror Dead by Daylight update for the new consoles. The game will be available on Xbox Series X and S today, November 10, and on PlayStation 5, also on launch days (November 12 or 19, depending on region). In addition, trailers for the release of the nextgen versions have been published.

Owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be able to update the game for free to versions for new systems within the same console family. All progress will be carried over.

Dead by Daylight is still available on Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also get access to Beta Cloud Saves and can activate a new skill for free, two characters – Kate Denson and Clown – and two skins.

The new versions support 4K and 60 frames per second (resolution for Xbox Series S is not specified). The developers continue to work on the graphics component and release patches with improvements on all platforms. Updates will be released as part of the Realm Beyond project until the fall of 2021.
