Death Stranding PC hits hit for 505 Games in 2020
505 Games announced that it was pleased with the sales of the action-adventure Death Stranding on PC. From its release in July to the end of 2020, the game had revenues of € 23 million.
The publisher also spoke about the success of the adventure shooter Control. Until December 31, 2020, the game’s revenue was € 16 million, but in the first five months since its release in 2019, its revenue was € 24 million.
Among the best-selling games, 505 Games also named the car simulator Assetto Corsa (€ 8.9 million) and the cyberpunk action game Ghostrunner (€ 6.9 million). By the way, the publishing house acquired the rights to the latter’s franchise quite recently for € 5 million.
Finally, the VG247 portal with a link to a recent financial report from Digital Bros. (owner of 505 Games) reported that the largest number of copies of the company’s games sold in 2020 were on PC.
