Dell will upgrade affordable G5 15 gaming laptop with Core i5-10200 and GeForce GTX 1650 at $ 899
According to My Laptop Guide, Dell is preparing an updated version of the G5 15 laptop. The current version of the G5 15 (5500) turned out to be one of the most popular mid-budget notebook models based on the AMD platform and offered a discrete Radeon RX 5600M graphics card exclusive. Unfortunately, the new model G5 15 (5510) will not be able to boast interesting configurations. The novelty will not receive any fresh AMD Cezanne (Ryzen 5000) or Intel Tiger Lake-H processors.
Apparently, the main changes in the new model will relate to the design. Externally, the laptop will look more like a representative of the Alienware gaming laptop family. Simultaneously, the new items’ technical characteristics indicate that the G5 15 (5510) will be a budget gaming laptop. It will be based on a Comet Lake-H generation Intel Core i5-10200H processor and a GeForce GTX 1650 graphics accelerator. According to the source, in this configuration, the laptop will be priced at $ 899.
The laptop will include a 15-inch IPS-display with Full HD resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB solid-state drive. In stand-alone mode, the novelty will be powered by a 56 Wh battery.
Dell G5 15 (5510) will receive two color options. Dark gray is called dazzling night-black; light gray is called functional green.
