Description and concept art of Pacifica – the Knight City area of Cyberpunk 2077, which did not have enough investment
CD Projekt RED continues to talk about locations from the world of Cyberpunk 2077. In recent weeks, in the microblogging of their upcoming game, the developers have told about the Wastelands surrounding Knight City, the Heywood, and Santo Domingo areas. Now it’s the turn of the Pacifica – another area in the metropolis from Cyberpunk 2077. Here everything is run by “Voodoo”, and the police do not dare to meddle in these dangerous places.
A recent post on the game’s official Twitter account reads: “ Pacifica could have been a big money-making resort in the middle of Night City, but as soon as the investment stopped flowing, the situation in the area began to deteriorate. Now, instead of tourists, gangs and violence dominate here, and Voodooists defend a society abandoned by law enforcement. ” CDPR has attached two new Pacific concept art to the publication: a panorama of a once-promising area where everything has fallen into decay, and an ominous slum.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. Sometime after the release, there will be versions of the project for the next generation consoles and Google Stadia.
This area will host part of Cyberpunk 2077’s storyline, as evidenced by last year’s 15-minute demo of the game. The video shows how V carries out the assignment of the “Voodoo” and infiltrates the headquarters of another gang – “Animals”.
