Digital Foundry experts chose the most beautiful games of the year – the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 topped the rating
Digital Foundry experts Alex Battaglia and John Linneman chose the games with the best graphics released in 2020 in a new video on the YouTube channel of the publication.
Unlike similar material a year ago, this time Digital Foundry decided to limit itself to a general list of nine positions, and not to make personal ratings.
Not in the top 9, but worth mentioning, according to Battaglia and Linnemann, are Dreams, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Teardown, Final Fantasy VII remake, Ghost of Tsushima and DOOM 64.
Topping the list of the most beautiful games in 2020 according to the version of Digital Foundry is the action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt RED. We are talking exclusively about the edition for PC since the project still looks not the best on consoles.
According to Linnemann, Cyberpunk 2077 took first place, largely due to its extensive use of ray tracing. The technology is used not only for reflections and shadows but also for lighting (including global).
