DiRT 5 Contributors Improve Game Performance On PS4 And Xbox One, And Fixed A Graphics Bug On Xbox Series X

Earlier in the Xbox Series X version of the DiRT 5 racing game, a bug was noticed that led to the appearance of cars with low geometry quality in 120 Hz mode. Codemasters has released a major update fixing this and other issues.

Along with Update 2.0, DiRT 5 introduces the Snow Limits free content pack, which includes playgrounds and the option to enable snow conditions on them, as well as personalization items. In addition, support for Thrustmaster, Logitech, Fanatec and other steering wheels was introduced into the project.

The update also brings to DiRT 5:

  • General graphics and performance improvements, including a fix for car quality in frame rate priority mode (120Hz) on Xbox Series X;
  • improved graphics performance on Xbox One and PlayStation 4;
  • Fixed an issue that caused flickering of lights during night events;
  • fixing crashes and problems when starting the game on a PC;
  • Fixed a bug due to which the game freezes on the “Career” – “Sponsors” tab when choosing a sponsor from the Amplified Edition;
  • numerous fixes for crashes during events in single and multiplayer modes, as well as bugs with artificial intelligence, prizes on the PlayStation, text and other aspects of the game.

DiRT 5 is out on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5.
