Domestic roguelike Loop Hero sales exceeded half a million copies in a week

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer studio Four Quarters on the digital distribution site Steam have shared information about their Loop Hero looping adventure’s success.

Since its release, Loop Hero has sold over 500,000 copies in its first week since the soundtrack has become the fastest-selling soundtrack in Devolver Digital history. Besides, the authors reported that, on average, users spend 12 hours playing a game.

To celebrate these achievements, the developers turned to the artist Bard-the-zombie to help create a special Steam Trading Cards series. The selection is now available and illustrated below.

Four Quarters thanked the players for their support and noted that they are especially proud of the “extremely positive” (95% positive reviews) rating of Loop Hero on Steam.

The Four Quarters are currently working on integrating features into Loop Hero, such as saves during expeditions, customizing the skill deck gained from bosses, and additional speed options.

Following the release of the listed content, the studio will create new ones: cards and their combinations, classes, and music. The timing of the release of updates in Four Quarters decided not to specify.

Loop Hero was released on March 4 this year exclusively on PC (Steam). Recall that the project suggests using a deck of mysterious cards to break the time loop in which the in-game world was due to the evil Lich.
