The Dongfeng Forthing Leiting crossover has been unveiled and is offered in China with prices ranging from $18,900 to $33,400. It is built on the EMA-E platform and is positioned as a pure electric compact crossover.
The front panel received a frameless grille, boomerang-shaped headlights and daytime running lights. Customers can choose from six body colors: black, white, grey, blue, green and light green.
Dimensions are 4600 x 1860 x 1680 mm, wheelbase is 2715 mm. The car is equipped with five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. The interior is made in white and gray colors with light green accents: a clear focus on a young audience is visible.

Inside, there are two 10.25-inch screens and a steering wheel with a cut-off bottom. The infotainment system received the Tencent HMI 2.0 system, which includes voice interaction and remote control of the vehicle. Dongfeng Forthing Leiting is equipped with a level 2+ driving assistance system, in which the driver is required to keep his hands on the steering wheel in order to immediately take control if necessary.
All Dongfeng Forthing Leiting models are equipped with a 204 hp BYD engine. with a torque of 340 Nm. Two battery options are available: a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 57.8 kWh and a lithium battery with a capacity of 85.9 kWh, corresponding to a range of 430 km and 630 km respectively. Official figures show that the acceleration time to 100 km / h is 7.9 seconds.
Charging from 30% to 80% takes just over half an hour.
