Next-generation Samsung flagships will get the same front-facing camera sensor as the Galaxy S23
A growing number of leaks suggest that the Galaxy S24 line of smartphones will not be much better than the current Galaxy S23 series smartphones. Yes, the new items will receive a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and the most current version of the One UI proprietary interface at that time (Galaxy S24 Ultra is also credited with faster charging ), but, for example, according to the latest leaks, nothing radically new can be expected from the camera. This also applies to the front camera.
Don’t expect much from the front camera of the Samsung Galaxy S24
The Galaxy S24 line of models will reportedly still have the same 12-megapixel sensor that is used in the current Galaxy S23 series. On the one hand, this is logical: Samsung has been using 10-megapixel sensors in the front cameras of its flagships for four years, and it’s too early to change the new 12-megapixel sensor for the whole year. On the other hand, some improvements when taking selfies in such a situation will be provided only by software optimization.
