Don’t Forget Me released – a cyberpunk puzzle-detective story about immersion in the minds of people
The independent studio The Moon Pirates has released on PC ( Steam, GOG ) its debut puzzle game with the Don’t Forget Me quest elements. It offers text riddles, a detective story, and cyberpunk surroundings.
The synopsis of the project reads: “You have to play as Fran, a girl with amnesia. She does not remember how she ended up at the door of Bernard, one of the world’s greatest experts on memory manipulation. Bernard takes Fran to his assistant. Together with her, you immerse yourself in the consciousness of patients, find memories and copy them … But the secrets of the past will surely overtake you …, and the fate of the whole world is about to be decided. “
Don’t Forget Me combines classic point-and-click gameplay with modern puzzles. Users will have to penetrate the minds of patients to find out their secrets. Each of them needs an individual approach, so players will need to choose the right keywords in the text riddles. According to the creators, to solve the puzzles in Don’t Forget Me, you will have to use logic, observation, and empathy.
Other features of the game include making moral choices when playing through, a soundtrack with jazz and synthwave motifs, and integration with Twitch. The latter allows viewers on live broadcasts to make individual decisions.
Don’t Forget Me is on sale for 360 rubles, but until April 27, it can be purchased with a 10% discount for 324 rubles. The game has a translation into Russian (subtitles and interface).
