DOOM Eternal Costumes Coming To Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout On January 12th, But Only For A Time
Devolver Digital and developer Mediatonic have confirmed that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will feature DOOM Eternal costumes with Bethesda Softworks.
Contrary to the December teaser, as part of the initiative, the multiplayer arcade Mediatonic will replenish the Doom Slayer’s appearance and two more demons – Kakodemon and Tyrant.
All three of these skins will appear in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout next week – January 12 – and available to users for a limited time.
The announcement in Devolver Digital and Mediatonic was accompanied by a half-minute trailer. Clumsy little men in id Software shooter characters’ costumes fight for the coveted crown to the music familiar from DOOM Eternal.
It is noteworthy that the Fall Guys structure: Ultimate Knockout video resembles the debut teaser for DOOM Eternal, shown as part of E3 2018. Comparisons were not long in coming:
DOOM Eternal’s crossover isn’t the first-ever Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Earlier in the arcade added costumes based on Sonic the Hedgehog, Portal, Untitled Goose Game and other famous franchises.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4. Mediatonic’s creation fell into the Platinum (highest) category of the Valve service’s most successful games at the end of 2020.
