Dragons in the Air: The Hunter DLC Launch Trailer for The Falconeer

Wired Productions and independent developer Tomas Sala have released The Hunter, a downloadable add-on for their aerial action RPG, The Falconeer. The DLC will let you fly a giant dragon instead of a giant war falcon. A special trailer is also presented for the occasion.

The Hunter includes the new playable Mongres Hunter class, the Amir Dragon flying creature, and the exclusive Pyro Pot guided-missile set. The addition also includes new equipment. It is currently on sale for $0.82 on Steam. Besides, the game itself is on sale on Steam until February 10 for $5.52 (20% discount).

In The Falconeer, players are encouraged to search for treasures and lost technologies, face pirates and amazing creatures. Horse riders rip through the skies on the backs of mighty fighting birds. During the game, you can join one of the factions or clans formed in the Great Ursi. You have to choose a rider of one of the available classes – each has its own characteristics, weapons, and combat creatures that can be improved by winning battles, completing tasks, discovering secrets, or using mutagens and spells. The gameplay involves using wind and ocean energy currents to dive, dodge, flip, and spin, gaining an advantage over rivals.

The game was originally introduced for PC but later added the Xbox One console and next-gen systems to supported platforms. Tomas Sala previously said that The Falconeer is optimized for the new Xbox consoles. For example, on the Xbox Series S, the action movie runs at 1800p @ 60fps in normal mode and 1080p @ 120fps in performance mode. On the Xbox Series X, you can expect 4K @ 60fps or 1800p @ 120fps.
