The solution has its drawbacks
In Moscow, at Vnukovo airport, they use a drone with a special soundtrack – the cries of birds. This is reported by the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to a source.
The drone began to be used to scare away birds, and it does not fly over the airport itself, but near it, over landfills and places where birds gather.
It is impossible to use drones at the airfield and the territory adjacent to it, since the program embedded in the drones does not allow it. At the same time, the ornithological service of Vnukovo has one UAV, which is used to detect places of possible accumulation of birds on the aerodrome territory – landfills, reservoirs, and the like.

The source of the newspaper added that several similar drones are being tested by Domodedovo airport services.
Interviewed experts note that so far Russia has not allowed joint flights of drones and manned aircraft in the same airspace. In addition, birds get used to drones and eventually even begin to attack them
