This is an anniversary model for the decade of Honor

The Chinese company Honor introduced its new smartphone Honor X50. The manufacturer is promoting the new product as a “peak of development” for the tenth anniversary of Honor.

The smartphone received a screen with curved edges, which, according to the manufacturer, is not afraid of shock, and the smartphone itself is “resistant to falls from ten sides.” It is positioned as the world’s first smartphone to be certified by SGS (Switzerland). The diagonal is 6.78 inches, the resolution is 1.5K, the frame rate is 120 Hz.

The main camera received the main sensor 1 / 1.67-inch Samsung S5KHM6 at 108 megapixels and two auxiliary 2 megapixels. An 8-megapixel front camera is embedded into the screen.

The battery capacity is 5800 mAh, it supports 35W charging. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone will be able to work up to 20 hours offline in video playback mode or up to 9 hours in game mode. The relatively new Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 platform became the hardware basis.

The thickness was 7.98 mm, and the smartphone weighs 185 grams. It also provides protection against moisture (IP53). The Android 13 operating system with the proprietary MagicOS 7.1.1 shell is installed on the smartphone.

Honor X50 is offered to users in four color options: eco-leather orange, as well as glass blue, black and iridescent. Pre-orders open tonight. Prices start at $193 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The top version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory will cost $276. Open sales will begin on July 14, 2023.
