Due to the “overwhelming amount of positive feedback,” the Dying Light developers decided to extend the crossover with Rust until April 30
In the official microblog of the Dying Light series, Studio Techland announced the extension of the timeline for the crossover based on the survival simulator Rust in the PC version of the first part of its zombie action game.
Recall that the in-game event was initially planned to be completed on April 26 at 20:00 Moscow time, but the community’s response exceeded the developers’ expectations.
Survivors of Harran, attention! We received a huge amount of positive feedback regarding the crossover with Rust, so we decided to postpone the end of the event until April 30 at [20:00 Moscow time], “ Techland said.
The developers did not say anything new about the timing of the arrival of content based on Rust in the console versions of Dying Light: the launch of the crossover on PS4 and Xbox One is expected in mid-May of this year.
As part of the in-game event, Dying Light users can collect trash, nails, and cans, raid outposts of the Rais Bandits – all to unlock themed rewards such as blueprints for weapons and explosive kits.
At the same time, a free set of unique items Rust Weapon Pack is available to players: a hatchet, a homemade submachine gun, a rusty assault rifle, an additional skin, and a paint for the car.
Dying Light is available on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The long-suffering sequel is now in development, which they promise to support no worse than the first part.
