The Duke Nukem Forever Restoration Project is a project in which a large group of enthusiasts are refining a leaked build of Duke Nukem Forever 2021. The team is trying to recreate what 3D Realms demonstrated in its trailer at E3 2001.
The team is currently focused on finishing the polish of the first chapter of the game called High Stakes, Lady Killer. Moreover, they are busy improving the engine and rendering system, as well as fixing various bugs.
The published trailer shows gunfights, riding a motorcycle in first person, several types of weapons and various locations.
The first chapter of the Duke Nukem Forever Restoration Project will be released on December 21, the schedule for the release of the remaining parts has not yet been published.
