“We partnered with Electronic Arts because they are as passionate as we are in helping people and communities discover great games, and we knew we could provide a great experience to subscribers by working together. We need more time to do this, ” Microsoft said.

A new launch date for EA Play on Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has not been disclosed. As Microsoft said, the news should be expected early next year.

This will not affect Xbox Game Pass for consoles. EA Play is already available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The service offers an additional catalogue of games from Electronic Arts and publisher partners. The EA Play library contains Star Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderBattlefield V, all Mass Effect parts and other projects and franchises of the company.
