EK unveils backlit waterblock for ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards
The Slovenian company EK Water Blocks, a developer of liquid cooling systems, has announced a new water block of the EK-Classic series: the product is designed for use with ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 graphics accelerators.
The base of the solution is made of a nickel-plated electrolytic copper plate. Heat is removed from the GPU and all key components of the printed circuit board, including memory microchips and power elements of the power subsystem.
The upper part is made of transparent acrylic. The built-in D-RGB multicolor backlight can be synchronized with other components on your computer via a motherboard supporting ASUS Aura Sync, ASRock Polychrome GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, or MSI Mystic Light Sync.
The water block is compatible with the following graphics accelerators:
- ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 8GB Advanced (ROG-STRIX-RTX3070-A8G-GAMING);
- ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 OC White, ROG-STRIX-RTX3070-O8G-WHITE, (90YV0FR5-M0NA00);
- ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 White Edition (ROG-STRIX-RTX3070-8G-WHITE);
- ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3070 8G Gaming (ROG-STRIX-RTX3070-8G-GAMING);
- ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3070 8G Gaming OC;
- ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3070 8GB OC (ROG-STRIX-RTX3070-O8G-GAMING);
- ASUS RTX 3070 8GB ROG STRIX TOP (ROG-STRIX-RTX3070-T8G-GAMING).
The price of the new item is approximately 140 euros. A reinforcing backplate can be purchased for another $45.33.
