Elon Musk confirms that the Tesla Cybertruck pickup will be able to provide energy to a mobile home

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that the Cybertruck electric pickup can be used as a power source for a camper (mobile home). The statement came in response to a Twitter user question who asked if such a feature would be implemented in a Tesla pickup.

For the United States, the ability to use a vehicle as a power source is nothing new, as mobile homes are trendy in the country – not only for travel but also as permanent housing. The ability to power home appliances from the Cybertruck will surely add to the Tesla pickup truck’s popularity.

Note that Tesla has already published renders in which Cybertruck was depicted with a branded stylish trailer. Many users drew attention because it does not look like a regular camper, so the question of powering home on wheels from an electric car remained open. Now, enthusiasts have to wait until Tesla starts delivering its pickup truck on pre-orders to experience the car’s possibilities in action personally.

The first Cybertruck shipments are expected to begin later this year. The retail price of the Cybertruck pickup starts at $ 49,900, and the range, depending on the configuration, varies from 480 to 800 km.
