The CEO of Tesla and owner of the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, has offered to make a generous donation to the online encyclopedia Wikipedia if they change their name.
“I will give them a billion dollars if they change their name to D*ckipedia,” Musk wrote. Journalist Ed Krassenstein urged the organization to agree: “Do it! You can always return the name.” Musk replied: “At least one year. I’m not stupid, lol.”

Previously, Musk criticized the Wikimedia Foundation for wanting too much money: “It doesn’t require that much to work with Wikipedia. You can place a copy of the entire text on your phone. So what is the money for? Inquiring minds want to know…”
In May, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales criticized Musk for his decision to restrict certain content on X ahead of the Turkish presidential election.
