The proof that Tesla is close to starting production of the Cybertruck electric pickup truck comes from new statements from the company’s CEO.

Elon Musk shared his impressions of the Cybertruck by visiting the car assembly line, which is built at the Gigafactory in Texas.

In a tweet, Musk tweeted, “Walked through the entire Cybertruck production line at Giga Texas in a few hours today – it’s going to be awesome!” He added that it “looks like the future.”

Recall that a fully electric pickup truck was first introduced to the public in November 2019. The Cybertruck’s futuristic design and performance has already generated 1.5 million pre-orders.

The factory is expected to begin limited production of the Cybertruck later this year, with mass production of pickup trucks expected in early 2024.
