The page has over half a million followers.

Elon Musk’s social network X (Twitter) took the @music page from open-source software developer Jeremy Vought, who told CNBC he created the account in 2007. Since then, he has gained about half a million subscribers.

X’s representatives offered him the opportunity to choose from a list of other music-related nicknames. He does not like the new @musicfan page, but he agreed to this option and transferred his subscribers to the new academic record.

The X Terms of Service, last updated in May, states “We may also remove or refuse to distribute any content, restrict the distribution or visibility of any content, suspend or terminate users, and return usernames without any liability to you.”

It’s not yet clear what X plans to do with the @music account now. On Thursday, the company posted a photo of musician Ed Sheeran holding a copy of his 2014 album X.

Earlier, Elon Musk admitted that he could lose the fight with Mark Zuckerberg if the fight dragged on .
