Huawei has announced the shell EMUI 10.1 along with smartphones P40
Huawei spoke in more detail about the EMUI 10.1 shell, a brief announcement of which took place during the premiere of P40 smartphones. There are not as many innovations as we would like, but they are. We already wrote about one of them – the voice assistant Celia.
In addition to the new digital assistant, EMUI 10.1 has an improved graphical interface. For example, when scrolling through the screen, the animation slows down before it stops completely. Such an acceleration model is developed taking into account studies of human perception. For the sidebar to appear, simply swipe your finger in the center from any edge of the screen. Applications in the sidebar can be moved around the screen to launch Multi-Window mode. Images, texts, and files can be transferred from one application to another.
EMUI 10.1 introduced a control panel that allows you to see all the devices available for connection. To connect them with each other, just select the appropriate menu button. The panel, which can be called from any edge of the screen, is used to turn on and off the connected devices, turn on the Multiscreen mode, and set the projection of the smartphone screen.
A new feature of EMUI 10.1 is MeeTime (the name is clearly “invented” with an eye on Apple FaceTime). The application supports calls between Huawei devices with Full HD resolution, and MeeTime also integrates beauty and brightness algorithms to optimize video quality in low light. There is an algorithm that ensures the smooth operation of video communications with an unstable network signal. Users can show the screen to the other party during a video call and make notes on the screen.
EMUI 10.1 shell, it will receive more than 30 smartphones Huawei
Huawei Share in EMUI 10.1 has learned to work not only with Huawei devices but also third-party companies too. For example, Cewe has incorporated technology into its solutions for remote photo printing. The “Multiscreen” mode has been improved, with it users can connect more peripheral devices to the MateBook, make audio and video calls or answer them via laptops immediately after connecting to a smartphone. The technology allows you to use the laptop’s camera and microphone as if they were connected to a smartphone.
EMUI 10.1 will receive more than 30 Huawei smartphones, including models of the top line Mate 30, Mate X and P30. A roadmap with dates will be published later.
