The mini laptop even has a Mac-like interface.

It turns out that if you are an engineer not even by education, but at least by vocation, then you are quite capable of assembling the most compact MacBook of our time from available tools. And even so that the interface of the final product will be very similar to that of macOS.

Enthusiast built a MacBook Mini from a Raspberry Pi 4

According to the source, user Michael Pick, who calls himself a “Leisure Engineer”, has assembled the smallest MacBook ever, the MacBook Mini. To do this, he needed a Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer, a handcrafted laptop case, and a software component – a Raspberry Pi OS with a macOS X-style skin.

As noted, the final product turned out to be quite working. Peak even installed a full-fledged browser on it – Chrome. In general, the Debian-based Raspberry Pi OS supports many features, including mirroring the desktop of an Android smartphone or tablet.

As for the case, the user deliberately chose this retro style with the MagSafe connector. Moreover, it is quite carefully thought out – right down to the illuminated Apple logo on the lid.
