It looks like Samsung’s mixed reality headset will not be just another product from the company in this segment. According to recent rumors, it will try to catch up with Apple Vision Pro, and in some ways even surpass it.

For example, according to insider Revegnus, Samsung is considering the possibility of adding not only touch controls, like Apple’s headset but also some kind of technology related to smells. How exactly this will be implemented is still completely unclear, and it is not a fact that it will happen in the end. But we can assume that Samsung could equip the headset with some kind of module that can generate odors, which would open up previously unseen possibilities. The headset will also receive screens with a density of 3000 pixels per inch corresponding to the competitor.

There are no other details yet, and it is unclear when such a headset might hit the market. At a minimum, even an Apple device needs to wait a few more months.

Insider Revegnus was the first to publish a photo of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 before its release and also described the characteristics of the Exynos 2400, which were then confirmed in Geekbench software.
