YouTube channel author Nick930 released a video comparing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 with the originals. The blogger demonstrated in detail the various improvements and noted that the creators of the remakes have qualitatively updated almost all aspects of the games.

Nick930 first showed the difference between models and textures in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and the original designs. The differences are especially noticeable when studying the characters, which turned out to be very detailed. A slightly older Tony Hawk, for example, is easily recognizable. The blogger also compared the design of the cards – in the remake in arenas, there are many more environmental elements, including small ones.

Nick930 also talked about improved controls and subtleties in performing a variety of tricks. This aspect of the remakes has also undergone improvements compared to the originals.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was released today, September 4th, on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, and Xbox One. On Metacritic (PS4 version), the project received 88 points based on 23 reviews from journalists. User ratings will not appear until tomorrow.
