All market leaders showed a decline in sales

IDC analysts assessed the tablet market in the first quarter of 2023. According to their calculations, the leader in the market, as always, is Apple. Its result is 10.8 sold tablets, which corresponds to a share of 35.2%.

Samsung confidently takes the second place, having sold 7 million tablets and taking 23.1% of the market. That is, the two companies account for more than 50% of the tablet market.

Huawei, currently in third place, is more than three times behind Samsung. Huawei sold 2 million tablets and took 6.6% of the market. 

The top five also included Lenovo and Amazon, which sold 1.9 million and 1.4 million tablets, respectively.  

It should be noted that all market leaders showed a decline in sales by 9.7% to 62%. The market as a whole sank by 19.1%, to 30.7 million devices.
