To date, over 20,000 apps are available on the Amazon Appstore for Windows 11. That’s a drop in the bucket compared to over 3.5 million on the Google Play Store.

Recall that in June 2021, Microsoft officially unveiled its Windows 11 operating system. At the same event, it was announced that Microsoft is partnering with Amazon to create an Android app store for Windows 11. These Android apps can be run directly on a Windows 11 computer. In February 2022, Microsoft launched the Amazon Appstore Preview for Windows 11.
