Just a month ago, the organizers hoped to hold it in the usual format.
At the beginning of the year, the Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA), which is organizing a major exhibition of photographic equipment CP +, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, had to cancel the event, which was to be held from February 27 to March 1 in Yokohama. A month ago, the association announced that CP + 2021, scheduled for February 25-28, will be held simultaneously at the Yokohama Convention Center and online.
Exhibition of photographic equipment CP + 2021 will be held online only
However, CIPA’s plans have changed. A new announcement on the exhibition website says that it will be held at the same time, but only online. This is allegedly due to the fact that the number of cases of infection with COVID-19 has recently risen sharply again.
According to the organizers, taking into account the experience of events that have already been successfully held in the online format, they will take care of attracting the maximum number of participants to participate in CP + 2021 ONLINE. It is expected that the international exhibition, as before, will serve as a platform for those wishing to present the latest products and technologies and to discuss the future of the industry.
