Experiment Succeeded: Europa Universalis IV now has a DLC subscription just like Crusader Kings II

Paradox Interactive has announced the launch of a subscription for access to all additions to Europa Universalis IV’s global strategy. She previously suggested the same in Crusader Kings II.

Europa Universalis IV extensions and other additional content are now available by subscription. For $ 4.99 / £ 3.99 / € 4.99 per month, users receive all-time DLCs at no additional cost, including Art of War and Mandate of Heaven, as well as all upcoming expansions such as Leviathan. However, the strategy itself did not become shareware like Crusader Kings II, so you still have to buy it for 699 rubles.

Subscription is only available to Steam users and on Windows only. Paradox Interactive plans to expand support to macOS and Linux someday but does not promise to do so. It is noteworthy that you can only subscribe to add-ons from the game itself.

Europa Universalis IV is only available on PC.
