The head of Xiaomi Lei Jun, before the start of sales of the first foldable smartphone of the company Xiaomi Mix Fold, announced an extreme test of the device, which will be broadcast live.

Lei Jun confirmed that they have created a test device that will continuously fold and unfold a smartphone every 1.6 seconds, 24/7, continuously for seven days. During this time, the smartphone must withstand 378,000 cycles.
The manufacturer confirms that the design of the smartphone is designed for 10 years of operation. If you fold and unfold a smartphone on average 100 times a day, then 365,000 cycles will be typed in 10 years.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold has a large 8.01-inch foldable screen as well as a 6.52-inch AMOLED screen on the outside. The manufacturer claims that the hinge part has been tested for 200,000 folding and unfolding cycles, with a total of 1 million times for the hinge. The main camera uses image sensors with a resolution of 108, 13, and 8 megapixels. It is the first smartphone with a liquid lens that allows a single 8MP camera to be used for both optical zoom and macro photography.
